The Kennel Club is launching the Judges Competency Framework (JCF) on 1 January 2019.
The Kennel Club have requested the three Breed Clubs appoint a Breed Education Co-ordinator to help manage the process.
The role of the B.E.C can be viewed at www.thekennelclub.org.uk/JCF
Anyone who feels they would be a suitable candidate for the role, please contact Des Flaherty at firstname.lastname@example.org who is collating details on behalf of the clubs.
All details/applicants will be passed to all three Breed clubs for consideration.
We have had unprecedented demand for our Breed Seminar and all spaces for the assessment have now been filled.
We still have spaces for the morning session, which will include the breed standard exam and lunch.
Thank you everyone for your interest.
The Central and Southern GSP Society is to hold a Breed Specific Seminar and Judging Competence Assessment in accordance with the Kennel Club's "Best Practice" Guidelines. This will take place on Sunday 25th February at Bosbury Parish Hall, Bosbury, Ledbury, HR8 1PU.
The day will consist of a presentation/talk on the breed followed by a Q&A session and an exam on the breed standard.
There will also be a Competency Based Assessment, required for those wishing to award CC’s in the Breed. This will involve judging 5 dogs and candidates will then be assessed on their ability to judge the Breed competently.
